RASTA APP – The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has developed a smartphone application titled “Rasta App” in collaboration with City Traffic Police, Lahore to provide smart solutions to the general public’s traffic-related problems and queries.
The citizens will benefit from this software in a number of areas, including planning driving routes, paying challans, and applying for licenses. The app will also generate timely traffic alerts for citizens to ensure hassle-free driving. Another tool called “Traffic Updates” will give customers advanced knowledge of the expected traffic routes. The source and destination points will direct users to avoid traffic jams with the use of Google Maps traffic updates.
